I'LL BE THERE

Life can be full of uncertainty
It's stinging clear to me
Though ,seems to leave me blind
Not able to see reality

Yet, whatever tomorrow brings I'll see

Seems to be everyone is so content
Whilst I feel nothing but torment
I drive myself to think
Of yester dreams
With open arms to hold you
And open eyes to see you
But I can't see how much
I let the wheel steer me
To put you in my dream tonight
To linger here with me again
What chance is there
To be, what I dream you to be
Dream how beautiful it could be
For you and for me

There seems to be a way
Everyone seems to get around
So why not me
Oh, pardon me

For being me
While I burst into pain
People smile away
Pardon me, while I burn
I will rise above my agony
I will never be the same
Yet always you remain
In my dream
Sequence of yesterdays
Forever here to stay

My hands, I do stretch out to you

For when I wake, the dream is gone
Yet, I do feel your presence strong
As if you want to linger on
Your perpetual spirit like a song
Enlaces me, embraces me, so strong
I feel to sleep not before long
So that I can drown myself again
In this whole entity I call
The dream of you and me
Yet, whenever I think that I am free,
You come again, and put your spell on me
I feel the sting of insecurity
Will I chose, water over wine
Thinking that you could be mine
I want to have this dream come true
For me, for you, eternity

Yet, whatever tomorrow brings I'll see
Whatever tomorrow brings I'll be there

I want to feel free like a bird
Come, come meet me, emerge the dream
Lets fly in outer space
Where our stars were made
I will always hold you tight
When you're afraid of heights
My dream is better, than it ever was
I will hold you in perpetuity
Retaining balance of my dream

Only you, make me feel like I do
Yet, you rise with every morning dew
But every night you come so close to me
Your silent touch floats right through me

Yet, whatever tomorrow brings I'll see
Whatever tomorrow brings I'll be there

Forever, sailing in my dream

THE RAIN (Surrealistic story)

The rain was pouring down, and I was sitting on an old tree trunk by the bulrushes. It had caught me by surprise. Now looking around, to see if there was a tree which could give me shelter.

There on the horizon, I saw what I was looking for. I picked up my bundle of books, and ran toward the tree.

I saw a frog was jumping by me in the same direction, a sheep came to keep me company too. Then a lion came, and brushed me with his mane. I was not afraid. An antelope jumped out from behind the bushes, and also joined us on the run to the tree. The antelope was not afraid of the lion either. I wondered, what was it that made these animals feel so close to me. A colibri came flying by, master of hummingbirds, and sat on my shoulder. I had not even seen the chimpanzee yet, who was now trying to hold my hand. I let him. A tiger, a snake, a fowl, a donkey and a zebra had joined us too.

We had almost reached the tree when we heard a loud thunder, then lighting struck the tree. Where to go now? The rain was still pouring hard and we were soaking wet.
The lion said; "come I shall lead you to a nearby cave, there we shall find shelter". We all followed the lion. Once inside the cave, we felt relieved having escaped the rain. I turned to the animals, and said; "Why did you all join me, it is so unusual. Normally we humans are afraid of you, and you are afraid of us." The animals came closer, and all of them looked at the books I was holding. "Why are you looking at my books?" I asked, astonished. "Well", said the colibri, " we saw you write whilst you were sitting by the bulrushes, and heard you read the poetry that you had written down, it was enchanting listening to you, you know."

I really felt flattered. To think of it, a colibri telling me this.

I opened my book and read a small piece;

From dusk to dawn
lay in my bed
toes tickling, when I awake
the sun outside is shining bright
I say my little prayer, right
jump out of bed
get shower power
then in to my garden, blooming flower
and this is where I rest and play
where peace surrounds me everywhere
the birds are humming, in the trees
the bees, a honey making team
and all the orchids are my dream...

The door bell rings, my sister's here
"Now come along, let's hug you dear.
I love the time when you are near.
I'll go and brew us lovely tea,
so you and me can sit out here,
and smell the flower power
disperse their spell
on you and me...".

Just while we have that lovely tea...




"What is tea?" I heard them ask.




What a miracle having animals listen to poems I thought, but then one never knows...is all we see, all we really can see? Is all we hear, all we really can hear? What's really real, and what surreal?

I feel your touch in my dreams
I hear your voice so clear

When I hear a saxophone
Or the sound of a guitar
But it's the wind, only the wind ~

Everything about you turns me on
This likeness of you and me turns me on
The banter and tease leaves me at ease
Yes, life could be so easy
...and yes, I know it's complicated ~

Come, make me shine ~

My love for you is immense,
huge,
it's immeasurable,
higher than the highest mountain
and deeper than the sea,
it's like touching all horizons with you
it's so much more than words can say,

If only I could touch your ~heart~ and make it beat faster
For me, only me
I care to be the sun in your life, that brightens every rainy day
I just want to be the one to hold you, when you're cold
The one to soothe you, when your world crashes down on you ~

Because of love, I am giving light ~

Caress me, hold me tender ‘long the night
Tease me, laugh with me ‘long the day ~
