WHAT MATTERED part eight
It was one of those days...
Shortly after the wedding had been
Remembering the moments keen
Still Tango on my mind
Like remembering... after the Ceremony
I danced Bossa Nova and Tango
All night
Had caught Michael
Held him tight
Brought me home and stayed all night
Alone again
I stand by my window and dream
What wouldn't I give
To hold him one more time
To make him wholy mine
For now and all time
Yet I thought
It was but a dream
flowing through my head
Like a soft liquid cream
Remebering how
We lay there embraced in my bed
Spreading sweetness through my mind
Wishing time was on my side
Though he had to move
Move on again
He never ever stayed for long
I wish he'd see that he was wrong
For if he stayed
If he stayed on
I would be his Paradise
That's ever and always nice
Now alone
in thought
Of all that had gone on
I felt my mood
Slide slightly to the side
Bad mood I couldn't hide
Milena wrote: "what's up,"
I wrote: "I'm feeling low!"
One minute later I got her note...
Don't be LOW! People are dying all around the world, women are enslaved, minds are going wasted, spring blossoms are about to burst in gentle rain and you have your health and you mind and a deep sense of joy! Sing even if you are down. Sing and even if you have tears it's okay...stand out in the rain and they will no longer be just your tears, but part of the world.
"Thank you, that's the most beautiful thing I heard today!"
I laughed and put some music on...
It's what mattered...
