still a bit jetlagged
I went on home
to find quite a few messages on my phone
can you do this, can you that
all I wanted is for the voices to stop
I clicked the button and turned it off
I stepped on my porch
gathering thoughts
just wanted to relax
and grabbed the 'Vogue'
second page reading about a rogue
I actualy took it to look for a dress
so I turned over the page
and found a dress I blessed
It was lovely thought I
just the right one for me
cause weekend come
bridesmaid I would be
a friend was getting married again
and I knew it would be a lot of fun
I'd dance all night
yet till then
a lot of things had to be done
The doorbell rang
who would it be
I went to see
my kids stormed in
hugs, kisses strong
and words of love
"We are so glad your back maman!"
Its what mattered...
